What’s new in OzRunways 2.6
- Multi-leg flight planning:
- Tap the screen or search for waypoints and add them to your plan
- Insert waypoints by dragging a track line. (“rubber banding”)
- Set up your aircraft and its performance to estimate ETE and fuel burn
- Get winds from ARFOR to calculate ground speed.
- Improved GPS accuracy
- Track-up as wells north-up display
- GPS track logging in GPX format

- One-tap direct-to anywhere – no need to create a custom waypoint first.
- Working AIP search on iOS 5

To get it working:
- Download free from the Apple App Store.
- When you run OzRunways the first time, it will generate a random userID for you & give you 1 month free subscription.
- You can change your userID in OzRunways Settings to something easier to remember (we suggest your email, but you don’t have to).
- If you would like to subscribe for 12 months, visit this website & click “Subscriptions” at the top!
- You can use each subscription on 1 iPhone & 1 iPad.
Tried before? Try Again!
As with every new major release we do, we have reset all trial periods. So if you tried OzRunways before but didn’t buy a subscription, you can now try it again for a month completely free. Just download or update from the App Store and go fly.
Update now on the App Store
To update to OzRunways 2.5, just go to the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Select the updates tab and OzRunways should be in the list, ready to download. Alternatively, or if you are new to OzRunways, just go to search and enter OzRunways. Or if you are reading this on your iPad or iPhone, just click on the app store button.
