Description: Level 14 roof top HLS 4 km. NE of Lismore Airport. NVG compliant HLS meeting all Ambulance NSW specifications. CAUTION: Significant turbulence can be experienced in prevailing north easterly winds with excessive power demands required on approach despite operating inside CAT A WAT AUW. Pilots are advised to exercise caution when arriving / departing to YLIH with prevailing north easterly winds and should consider a recovery at YLIS.

Description: Lismore CTAF. Class G. Refer to ERSA.
Procedures: Both VFR approach and departure paths have been PC1 surveyed and are obstruction free above 2.5° (4.5%). HLS equipped with water DIFFS. Western arc is also obstruction free but has not been surveyed. Refer to Lismore Hospital HLS Operations Manual available on hospital web. **Caution** Large Flying Fox colony adjacent to Hospital precinct, pad may be unusable during animal migration at dusk and dawn.
Approach: NW sector VFR approach path 150° and Southern sector VFR approach path 360° T.
Departure: NW sector VFR departure path 330° T and Southern sector VFR departure path 180° T.

Max. Mass: 6,800 kg static limit
Obstacles: Lift lobby and windsock on the northern side of the deck. Green HLS perimeter lighting will be activated by HLO. Red rotating beacon on windsock can be activated on request.
Surface: Perforated aluminium, non slip in light grey.
Windcone: Yellow illuminated windsock.
Fuel: Nil. Available at Lismore Airport.

Available: NVG compliant green FATO and TLOF plus yellow VFR approach and departure paths.
Activation: PAL activated on 120.45 MHz. Set to 45 minutes.
Guidance: Each VFR approach and departure path has a yellow double headed arrow and three NVG compliant yellow lights.
